Seniors: Educaid awards a lucky high school senior with a “Gimme Five” ($5,000) scholarship toward their college or trade school expenses. SENIORS – There is a new science scholarship program at UALR. There will be (18) scholarships at $10,000 per year for four years of schooling. This can be added to Pell Grant awards. Information is available on the website (www.ualr.edu/sciencescholarship)
Rising 10th,11th, and 12th grade Girls Only - This is a great opportunity for our young ladies at Fair to participate. The Program is called 2009 Young Woman’s Political Leadership Retreat. The cost of the program is entirely free of charge and travel scholarships are available. Running Start encourages high school girls to channel their leadership skills into politics. SENIORS – United States Department of Transportation will sponsor the 2009 Summer Transportation Internship Program for Diverse Groups. The period is from May 27th – August 8th. You must have been accepted into a college or university for the fall of 2009 . Information is available in the guidance office
United States Secret Service is a federal law enforcement agency with headquarters in Washington, D.C. The Secret Service Student Temporary Education Employee Program gives students an opportunity to earn money and continue or resume their education at the same time.
